A Mediterranean Youth Vision for 2020

Turkish entrants (from Ankara) of the "Mediterranean Youth Vision 2020" competition, which seeks to strengthen cooperation among youth from across the Mediterranean region


The Euro-Med Movement and the Leo Savir Foundation for a Mediterranean Vision 2020, within the Peres Center, has launched its inaugural project – "A Mediterranean Youth Vision for 2020" – which seeks to inspire youth to express their vision of the region in the year 2020 through a medium of their choice (art, music, poetry, or prose).

Submissions have been arriving from around the Mediterranean region, and in the near future, two youth from each of the 17 participating countries will be selected to participate in a three-day Youth Vision Seminar to be held in Malta in January 2007.

This project is funded by the YOUTH programme of the European Commission and supported by the Strickland Foundation, Fortina Spa Resort and Hamilton Travel.
