ROGER WATERS GRAFFITIS ISRAELI WALL IN PALESTINE

Roger Waters, founding member of super group Pink Floyd, has visited the East Jerusalem village of Abu Dis ahead of his performance in the Arab/Israeli Peace Village Neve Shalom, Thursday 22 June. He called for an end to the on-going Israeli Occupation. EU CONDEMNS TEL AVIV BOMBING

The European Union yesterday condemned the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv on Monday and called on both the Palestinian and Israeli governments to continue with their efforts towards peace in the Middle East. In a statement issued by Austria on behalf of the presidency, the EU stated that it has repeatedly condemned such criminal terrorist acts which undermine any chances for a peaceful settlement.more...

The Euro-Med Movement has strongly condemned the suicide bombing in Tel Aviv and called on the Palestinian Authority to take a clear public stand against such unjustifiable acts of terrorism. CALL TO AMEND EU-MOROCCO FISHERIES DEAL

Pressure is being put on the Maltese government and the five Maltese MEPs to propose amendments to a draft fisheries agreement between Morocco and the EU which is expected to be given the go-ahead shortly. In a letter addressed to Frans Agius, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry for Rural Affairs and the Environment, and to all the MEPs, Joe Mifsud, president of the local Euro-Med Movement, urged all parties to oppose the current draft agreement and instead propose changes so that Western Sahara would be excluded from this agreement... more...
